Black Friday typically encourages overspending and encourages a throwaway culture. A lot of items bought today will make their way back into landfills. We believe in recycling, repairing, and reusing what you can and only buying what you truly need.

By all means, go ahead and save some money today if there’s been something you’ve had your eye on for some time and you’ve been waiting for it to come on sale.
But please think carefully before you spend big today on a great “deal” which you never really wanted in the first place. The easiest (and hardest!) way to reduce waste, the most powerful “R”, is to REFUSE. Say no to the things you don’t need. That means most things!
